I currently have a cable for my Garmin GPS which connects the my laptop's serial port, are there cables avaliable to connect this cable to the IPAQ, i.e a cable which connects one side to the IPAQ and a male side 9pin serial connector on the other side to accept a 9pin female serial connector.

There is a possibility that the Garmin serial cable could be attached to the serial port of the Carcomm car kits for iPAQ's. We have not tried it but the Carcomm kits have 9pin male serial ports on them.

That's very handy. Is there a Garmin driver in GPS Status settings? I can't remember.
