ipaq 2210 & hard drive

I have always thought how nice it would be to connect an external h'drive/cd drive to my ipaq 2210.
I have a number of spare h'drives (laptop & full size) and connect them to my pc with usb lead & seperate power supply.

what would I need to connect to ipaq?

Probably a CF to USB interface card. But they are not that widely available yet due to the lack of support for them in PPC and that you need PPC based drivers for any USB devices that you plan to attach.
