Cool Ipaq in swimming pool!

My Ipaq 2210 and I ended up in a swimming pool. It has dried off, when the battery is inserted both the power and Bluetooth lights come on and stay on, the speaker makes a crackling noise.

Are the 2210's robust enough to be repaired? If so, anyone know where?

regards

Midge.

Midge the problem is that iPAQ's have one main board that does it all if you have soaked the board it could be costly to get repaired via HP.

Thanks gentlemen, I'll be back in the UK in a week, it might be a chance to upgrade. Are there any other models that have both a CF and SD slot?

Failing that it might have to be another 2210, advantage is I'll have two cradles and a spare battery.

Regards

Midge

There are no other HP models with both slots...you could get a DELL X5...it has both.
I would make sure your 2210 is totally dead before you decide to get it replaced. Make sure it is totally dried out then see if you can get it working again.
