If you hard reset an IPAQ 5550 does it wipe the fingerprint protection ?

Wouldn't mind having the pin code on the 4150 written into a bit of RAM somewhere so if someone lifted it they couldn't use it again.

If my memory serves me correctly it doesn't clear the fingerprint. Makes sense as that would be too easy
