IR Beam problem

Hi - I have a Dell X5 and a laptop running XP. I have been using IR to communicate between them (cos I can't get wireless working!), but since my batteries completely ran out, my IR link isn't working.

The PDA and laptop detect each other, but when I try to transfer stuff, the laptop says that the PDA is "actively refusing" the files. I can't find settings on the PDA to accept all data etc...

Thanks for all the advice. Got it working by turning it on & off a few times - it now works!!!
