Default media player playlists

Can someone please help. I have transferred a fair few mp3's to my 256CF card. They are all showing as being on the card. Media player has decided for some unknown reason to only pick a few to play. I have not created a playlist as I was just going to play them all. I can see no reason for why its happened. This is why I dont use media player on the pc, its a pain.
One last question, is there any other mp3 playing software available for pocket pc? Like, say winamp?
Cheers
M

It could be that some MP3s have been encoded at a bitrate that the PPC can't handle.Do a search on Google for mortplayer...have heard it's good but haven't tried it.

Most MP3s I play on my iPAQ are 128kB. You can tell what bitrate they are if you play them in Media Player on your PC and look down on the satus bar for the rate.

In the end I just put them on there as WMA files at about 128 (i think)
And it works fine.

Cool, I'll remember that in case someone asks again.
