Default Incredibly stressed 2210/ internet

I just cannot get my 2210 on the net. My Nokia 8910 is bluetooth paired with my ipaq as my ipaq will dioal phone numbers from outlook so I know its not a bluetooth problem. I just really do not have the faintest idea how to set up my ipaq to use my vodafone gprs. I spoke to vodafone who told me the dial # was *99# but thats all. Every tutorial I have found seems to have different screenshots to mine. I'm really p%*@*d off about this. Most stuff I can pick up real quick but this is doing for me.

This is the bit that I dont understand as I have uk vodafone on GPRS and cant finds the settings

"Enter the required information for the GPRS or CDMA connection (or dial up to an ISP). If using GPRS the "Phone Number" should be in the format *99***1#, where 1 is the connection configured in your mobile phone. If using CDMA the "Phone Number" should be in the format #777. You have to check with your provider if a user name and password combination is needed"

I managed to get from 02 a crib sheet by email to solve the problem. What took the time was the GPRS settings on the phone. The Ipaq bit was easy.

If you badger vodaphone I'm sure they also have written instructions but a word of caution; the instructions for the phone were 'way above' my head and if not followed precisely just led to no connection.

The phone company who manages a 'user friendly' user interface for GPRS in my opinion have a path laden with gold ahead of them as Joe Public in the street is not going to go through such aggro just to get a mini internet provisionin their pocket.
