Default Active Sync Problem - please help

Hi Guys

This is my first post and my first day as the owner of a ipaq 4150.

The problem I have is that I can not connect during the setup of the active sync software.

I installed the software and then connect the PDA when requested but it just says connecting....and never actually connects.

I have tried doing a system restore and reinstalling the software but nothing works.

I am using active sync 3.7.1 and am running windows xp pro.

Is there anything anyone can advise

Thanks

Rik

Welcome to our forums.
Do you have it connected to a USB hub or direct to the port on the PC?

Searched the web and found the solution - I had to remove zone alarm from my system and as soon as I did it connected. Zone alarm was not even running but apparentley it can still interfere
