Default Newbie help - what's the best PDA for messenger?

Hi all, i'm just looking to buy a PDA, primarily so i can use MSM Messenger on the go. I've currently got a Motorola v525 gprs phone on vodafone pay as you go which has a bluetooth connection. Am i best to buy a PDA with a view to connect via this phone or one with built in gprs? Can anyone suggest which pda to buy - i'm not wanting to spend a great deal so if an older and cheaper model will do the job fine (along with picking up emails etc.) then that's fine.

Any help appreciated as i haven't got a clue.

cheers

BB

Welcome to our fourms.
I'm a big fan of the H4150 which you can use in Wifi hotspots or you can pair with your phone for when your away from Wifi. You could also go for the XDAII or I-Mate as each of these are mobile phones in their own right and have the ability to access GPRS. You'll find the XDAII & I-Mate are a bit pricey when you comapre them to the likes of the H4150 though.

cheers for that Charlie. I guess i need to be with a phone provider that allows access to a net server don't i? I'm with vodafone at the moment - any idea if they allow it? They seem to have their own messenger service so i don't know if they allow access to just any old messenger?!? I'm not sure i entirely understand how you can connect to messenger via a moble phone network...

Give their customer services a call, they should be able to tell you if your SIM is enabled for it already and how to go about it if it's not.
