HP IPAQ 5550 -died

This is a discussion on HP IPAQ 5550 -died within the Pocket PC forums, part of the Pocket PCs/Handhelds category; My new (2 months) Ipaq froze and went blank - no chance to switch it on again. Any ideas - please....

Unhappy HP IPAQ 5550 -died

My new (2 months) Ipaq froze and went blank - no chance to switch it on again. Any ideas - please.

Hi PLP,

I take you have followed the advice on the HP site i.e.


Be sure the HP iPAQ Pocket PC is turned on.

Be sure the HP iPAQ Pocket PC is connected to the AC adapter and the universal desktop cradle.

Reset the device by using the stylus to lightly press the Reset button on the bottom of the unit.

Remove and replace the battery.

And if all else fails use the warranty.
