Help! Pda/phone Needed!!!

hi guys

please help me.

i need a pda that can also be used as a phone. (not a phone with pda functions), something along the XDA2. tri-band, unlocked (any sim can be used).

can you give me any idea as to what is out there - ive tried looking around, but really cant find a whole lot of info. surely the XDA2 isnt the only unit of this type around....?

please let me know!!!!

Welcome to our forums.
Today you have the choice of the O2 XDAII, the i-Mate (same unit as XDAII but different branding), Anextek SP230, handspring Treo 600 and the iPAQ H6340. There are others but these are the main players.

thanks for the quick reply... ive checked them out. they seem VERY expensive...

any ideas where i can get the iPAQ H6340 cheap???????

Nowhere mate unless it's faulty. They're new to the market hence the price. Try ebay.

thinking about it the price aint too bad for what i can do with the unit.... BUT!

question is this. i will be using this unit here in the UK (virgin/t-mobile) and in the philippines (with a local sim card - "smart" is the network carrier there - can anyone tell me, is this possible..............?

can you guys check for me - as i have NO, and i mean NOOOOOOOO idea where to look!!!!
