Default Partnership Problem in Activesync

I had to re-install active sync at work.

I renamed my sync folders and when installation was finished I sat my 2210 into its cradle.

It says my IPAQ name is in use (where I dont know) and there is no partnerships showing on the PC activesync boxes. All I can do is a guest docking.

Where do I go from here?

Many Thanks

Take the iPAQ off the cradle then open Activesync on your PC and click on FILE then look in MOBILE DEVICES and you should see the name...if there are more than one the select the one you want to use then go down to DELETE PARTNERSHIP on the FILE menu...this will let you use that name again.

As far as I know all my favourites from home are synced but my work PC doesnt seem to be.

I have a list of all favourites in explorer but the error message for attention only appears at work. It used to work fine.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

When you set thte PDA up at first Activesync would have asked if you wanted to sync with that PC only or with 2 PCs, if you can remember, what did you select?

Hi Charlie

Yes I do with the exception of mail and calendar as BT only supports outlook express

Give HP a ring on 0870 842 2339 and select options 1, 3 and 6.
