Active sync & 2210

Angry Active sync & 2210

can any one tell me why I have to connect to internet to actvate syyncronization. Have I got setting wrong. I feel this could be a security issue among other things. can you please advise. Thank you....Ray

I have no idea but suspect it may be to do with anti-virus software. Do you have any installed?

Yes I do and fire wall but that is the norm now day is it not. I Have also reinstalled several time hoping this would sort out the problem but it has not.

It is the norm I suspect but Anti-Virus still causes problems some times. Check the vendors website for issues with Activesync or try turning it off (instead of disabling as that doesnt always work).
