Default 120 Gb Pda

I currently own a 120 GB External Harddrive and I have been researching ways to use a pda that I plan to purchase to access and store information on it independently from a computer. So far I've come up with 2 potential solutions.

1- Getting a USB 1.1 Host Adaptor CF card that will allow me to connect my hardrive directly in to a CF capable pda and be able to access it. Cost : $160

2- Getting a wl-500g wireless router + media storage that would allow me to connect the harddrive to the router and access it with a wireless ready pda. Cost : $70

I spoke with a tech guy at best buy and he said that both ways would work but I wanted to be sure and this looked like the best place to find out from people who would know.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Welcome to our forums.
I'm not entirley sure if option 1 wilol work unless you have confirmed driver compatibility with PocketPC.
Option 2 would be my choice as obviously it's cheaper but it provides storage & Wifi for more than just your PDA.

I would check compatibility of the CF adapter before commiting myself.
