Wi Fi issue

Sorry. it's me again ! I'm having trouble working out how to connect my HP4150 to my son's PC which is upstairs, complete with Netgear router. My regular IBM laptop picks up the signal and works with me quite happily downstairs, but my HP comes up with nothing, and yet in a British Airways lounge, I can quite happily get onto BT Openzone. The only clue seems to be that it tries to insist on dialing up Vodaphones GPRS which I normally use with the Bluetooth connection on the road. I've tried turning off the Bluetooth and my mobile phone is also switched off, but to no apparent avail. Advice appreciated..thanks. Mike.

I don't know if you have seen it posted before but look at http://wifi.aximsite.com/wifi_net.html
