"problem deleting file"...any suggestions?

I down loaded and installed some flight simulator software to the memory card of my PPC running WM2003. Unfortunately, on loading for the first time the PPC seemed to crash so I went to remove the Software but I an unable to remove 3 files each with strange names like *#*#*#*#*# etc. My PC Similarly can't delete either the files or the entire directory either.

Any ideas ?

The files are corrupt. Are they on the memory card or PDAs internal memory?
