Default hp ipaq software - where to buy ??

Can anyone pls help. I would like to buy some software for my IPAQ (hp 2210) from a UK web site.

I have been to Handango (UK web site) but had problems with the purchase (it failed when I submitted the transaction). I setup an incident, but never got any e-mail replies from Handango. I then tried the US contact number (from work of course !!!), but never got anyone to answer the phone (waiting for 15 mins plus on hold). I even e-mailed the sales team, but no replies.

I cant seem to find an alternative UK site - anyone got any good ones ??

Also - do Tom-Tom EVER update there UK maps ?? The last 2 journeys I have done show 2-3 roads (not just local, but A-- roads) completely different.

Welcome to our forums.
What type of software are you looking for, anything in particular?

Charlie,
Thanks for the quick response.
As you can gather I use my Ipaq for Tom Tom primarily, but I would like to use it much more.

I tried to get a games pack(POP-CAP games) and a DVD to ipaq converter so that I can view my DVD's on the move.

Dont Tom Tom do a regular map upgrade (one a year ???). I paid enough for the software (it is good though).

Amazon do some software...most other places seem linked to Hnadandgo.

The last map update TomTom did was in the transistion from V2 to V3 of Naviigator. Thats was March last year, so it should be March this year for another update.

Charlie,
I thought so. Any tips regarding the Handango website ?? If I have to go back again, I dont want the same trouble as they obviously dont bother resolving any problems. It does seem to be a good website but, as usual, let down by support issues.

Hopefully Tom Tom will update in March - thanks for that.

To be honest I've never used their site to buy anything. What was the problem you had last time?

Charlie,
I selected my 2 items and went to pay. After filling in the payment details etc. I submitted the request for payment, but it failed giving me an error message and telling me to report the problem. The rest of the story is given above.

I will revisit and give it a 2nd try. It's useful to check with other users to get opinions and tips etc.

Graham

Yeah give it another try. Never had any problems like that with any sites myself.
