Hi people

I wonder wether anyone knows wether the keyboard and cradle (originaly HP) fit both, the Ipaq 3970 and the Ipaq 1940. A friend of mine is thinking about buyin a new one but he want's to know for sure if it fits or not, if it does he'll give me the 3970.

You will find that the connection at the bottom of the 1940 is reversed from the 3970, so basically the keyboard for the 3970 is fine but if you try and connect it to the bottom of a 1940, you would be looking at the back of the keyboard. If the keyboard you have has a swivel connector you would be fine.

Stevie,

Thnx for your reply, it is an original HP keyboard (foldable), havn't had the chance to look at it yet. Probably the cradle (docking) has the same problem I guess? Maybee a screwdriver helps?
