usb on the go

i've been told i need this to help connect my toshiba to my gps. anyone used? best place to get? i take it it's just a software download?

from my understanding the pda is designed to send stuff via the usb but not to receive. you need this usb otg(on the go) to make it receive aswell?? new one on me but thought i'd ask if anyone else had heard anything.

Unfortunatley I haven't been able to look at the website - we use Websense at work which prevents us from looking at shopping sites (as well as many others!) during working hours :-(

I'm still not sure why you would need this. Which model of Toshiba do you have and also what GPS reciver do you have?

toshiba e750 with usb host cable ie ends in female usb. and a garmin gps map60c. running memory map on pda. garmin has usb b connector. tried to connect with necesary cable and adapter. neither could either.

I've never tried this I'm afraid so I really can't say if you need USB to go or not. Sorry.
