Unhappy Realplayer Problems

I have a HP6340 with 2003 on it I have tried to put realplayer on it but when I click on the setup icon on my desktop it says requires "Activesync 3.1 or higher" I am currently using 3.8 and it seems to work fine with everything else.

Does anybody have any suggestions

Is it the most recent version of the Realplayer install you have?

That's bizarre, not sure what to recommend. Do you have access to another PC?
