Default 4150...Memory Upgrade

Hi Charlie et all. I am seriously thinking of sending my 4150 to the States for a 128mb RAM upgrade, from the current 64. www.pocketpctechs.com at $129 + shipping.
Before I do, any comments... or is there somewhere closer to home that offers something similar ?

Hi there,
I have looked at this in the past and I can't find anyone locally that does it. Even if there was I don't think I would personally have it done. I've read their testimonials section and they seem very successful and reliable at their work. I don't think it's worth the cost though, this is my personal opinion, when you consider it's $129 and they state in their FAQ that "Normally Europe and the UK are approximately $40 to 80 dollars extra, and the return customs fees & duties are your responsibility." So it can work out to be quite an expensive upgrade. If you plan on keeping your iPAQ for some time then it may be worthwhile but it seems that PDAs are like mobile phones, everyone has to have the latest model which may mean there would be no point shellnig out for the upgrade if you were to change the PDA in the next 12 months or so.
