Internet provider

Which Internet providers do you people use to connect your PDA in England? I'm looking for a free connection, then I'd pay for each phonecall. Here in France, the provider Free has a normal rate phone number (therefore included in my mobile phone package) you can use, so for e-mails it works out quite cheap. Is there something of the sort in the UK?

best method i've found is using GPRS via a blue tooth link between my PDA and mobile phone.
