Default pda turns off after being turned on

Hi all,

A few days ago the battery on my HP ipaq 2210 died and I lost all data.

Once I fully recharged it, I managed to recover most of my data as I had done a backup a few months earlier using the backup option, but ever since then every time I turn on the PDA is switches itself off within a few seconds, I have to turn it on again and repeat this 2 or 3 times before its finally stays on.

any ideas?

thanks

Pete

There maybe a problem with the power circuit. If it's still in warranty contact HP for a repair on 0870 842 2339 and select options 1, 3 and then 6.

Hi Charlie,

thanks for the quick reply, unfortunately I brought it from yourselves a few years ago now and it has been well used so perhaps its starting to have enough. but then again I am currently saving up for hopefully a HP IPAQ 4700 and Tom Tom 5 bundle when they are finally out !

Thats a shame. You could try a hard reset...it can't make things any worse.
