CF or SD for Newbie

I have recently bought an Ipaq 2210 and wish to upgrade the memory but not sure wether to go for CF or SD.

I would like to leave the memory in the unit if possible, would this cause too much battery drain?

As the Ipaq can take both cards is it possible to use them at the same time?

You can leave the memory in the PDA all the time, and i would not worry about the battery usage. Yeah you can use both CF and SD.
