charged but no power?!

hi guys,

very new to the pda world, got given a compaq 3630. its all linked up to the comp ok, but if i try and turn it on when it isnt being charged or on its cradle it just does nothing. it has been charging over night yet the charging light is still flashing.

Any ideas? new battery required maybe?!

Sounds like a battery problem. I don't think it's a user replaceable type though.
