Hi Gary

If you to start, programs, file explorer, does it not detect that the card is there? Is it at all possible to try a SD card?

I have tried the SD and CF card, but to no avail, this is driving me around the bend, phoned HP helpdesk and got an Indonisian girl who talked very little English, then tried the Australian helpdesk, because I am down there at the moment, and got either an Indian or Pakistani person that talked very little English. I am having no luck at all just now. Sorry I should have started off by saying that the e-mail I received from HP Helpdesk Europe told me to press the far right and left button on the unit and insert the pen into the back of the unit for hard reset. Now the iPAQ will not read either CF nor SD cards.......BIG HELP REQUIRED, need this unit for when I return to Spain, got houses to look at, and need this for the GPS.

Sir if you have completed a hard reset and the PDA has reverted back to factory defaults and still no luck, this is deffo a hardware fault.
