Default On off switch

From time to time I am unable to switch my Acer N30 on by using the on off switch and have to do a soft reset.

I have been trialling lots of software and installing and uninstalling and wonder whether this is the cause. And how I can resolve the problem or is a hard reset and resinstall of all the software the answer?

If you've had a few programs installed and uninstalled then a hard reset is probably best. Whether or not it's the cause of the problems with your power button is unlikey but you'll be able to tell if its still doing it after you reset.

I uninstalled ButtonMax and now my Acer N30 is as good as new. It seems that ButtonMax is not compatible with my PPC
