Richard, What network are you on? if your phone has Bluetooth or infrared it should be able to work as a modem - communicating with the 1940, but for the settings its normally best to talk to your phone operator for GPRS settings or you can set up a dial-up connection but this will probably br more expensive. Let me know and i'll have a look for you.

Richard I personally use my t610 as my access to the internet via my PDA. All you have to do is make sure your phone has Bluetooth enabled on it, go to Bluetooth manager on your PDA. Tap new, connect, explorer a Bluetooth device, once it detects your phone simply tap on icon. It will now ask you to select a service (dial up modem) highlight that and continue. Now go to start settings, connections, and create a new connection, u need to change the settings below:

GPRS

Phone number = *99 #
Please remove the area code and country code.
Now edit your dialling rules so that everything is set to G

If you have a look at http://www.filesaveas.com/pocketpcwap.html

Cool

Also some providers like t-mobile require an extra string which you input under the advanced button.

Number to dial is *99#
Speed is 57600
Extra Sting is +cgdcont=1,"IP","general.t-mobile.uk"
