Backup Probs

I have a Ipaq 2210 i use the ipaq backup software to back up by pda on a "when i can remember" schedule, i recently decided to use the backup schedular to do auto backup once a day, the problem i have is it turns my pda on every 10 mins if i do nothing it automatically switches off but in 10 mins switches back on, if i disable scheduled backup it doesn't turn on, so i know its the backup causing the problem any help.
