Question Activesync woes.

First of all, please don't laugh. I have a large banana and I'm not
afraid to use it.

OK, here's the problem.
I just got myself an old Fujitsu Pencentra 130 (Did I hear a titter at
the back?..... I know your father!!) and I am trying to sync it with my
desktop PC.
The major problem, which if fixed, may make all the other problems go
away, is that I can't find a way to create a Partnership.
I used to have an Ipaq that I could sync with no problem but that went
to Silicon heaven to be with the Toasters and when I tried to use that
version of Activesync, the Help section asked if I was running the
latest version. I downloaded 3.8 and installed it over the top of 3.7
but that didn't work so then I totally removed activesync and did a
clean install of version 3.8. but I never get to see the screen where
you create a partnership so when my Fujitsu tries to connect......
nothing.
The Microsoft Activesync box now shows the greyed out Ying/Yang type
icon and next to it a "No partnerships" message.
Any clues would be appreciated.
Steve

Welcome to our forums.
If you are able to tell is which version of operating system the Fujitsu is running we may be able to recommend a version of Activesync that will work for you. I'm not familiar with the PDA you have so I am unable to tell you how to find out what version it's running...sorry.
