Default acer PDA with GPS built in and tomtom?

Does anyone know if my N35 sat nav acer(integrated) will work with TOmtom 5?If so how do you get tom tom to recognise the gps receiver?

Welcome to our forums.
The N35 is supported by TT5 but I'm not sure what the receiver settings will be. If you have used TT3 on the N35 then try using the same or similar settings.

I have got TomTom 5.10 running fine on my Acer n35. You need to have the gps device set as:

'Other Cable NMEA GPS'
'GPS baud rate set at 9600'

On the final screen

tap

'GPS ON NAVIGATE'

Can take 5-10mins to get the first satillite lock but works in seconds after that.
