Default What PDA for Mapping

Hi,

I'd like to get a PDA for mapping with 1:25000 OS maps. Also being able to load and read foreign maps would be nice.

What PDA should I buy ?

I own a GEKO 101 and know it won't connect to anything but I don't want a pda with GPS.

Nicky,

I would recommend the HP iPAQ 2210 or 1940 as, i used to use my old iPAQ 3600 for hillwalking and it was quite awkward due to its size, the 2210 and 1940 are both superb PDA's and would be able to display the maps without to much hassle. When it comes to software though, i dont know many peices of software that use OS maps withough being linked up to a GPS recevier i used to use Fugawi 50K UK regional CD-ROMs which were 1:50,000 but i'm sure there are other peices of software that you could use!
