Well by default I couldn't get the T610 to grab email off a non-vodafone email server. So I got Voda (Well, 4U) to send me the appropriate non-WAP gprs accounts. These show up as Vodaphone Internet and Vodaphone Live! on my phone (Main Menu -> Connectivity (the * key is a shortcut) -> Data comm. -> Data Accounts) Since you probably have a different phone retailer things might show up differently. But this is what mine says:
New Account
Vodafone GPRS
Vodafone WAP
Vodafone Internet <-- this is the one *I* use
Vodafone Live!
Click on "Vodafone Internet", you will see something like:
Edit
Rename
CID=2 <--- this is the number you want to take notice of.
Next, modify your ipaqs dialer, to dial *99***2# where 2 is the number after CID= shown on your phone.
Now when your 4150 (or other PDA) dials vodafone GPRS it'll just work!
Though I've noticed that vodaphone wap doesn't seem to work around the Paddington Area when I try it around 7pm ... I'm looking forward to be able to check proper gprs connectivity on the way into London...
