SQL Server on Pocket PC Dear All,
I am currently the proud owner of an hx4700, and am trying to write database applications for it. Because of the nature of the agreement the company I work for has with M$, we get various software and licences free. Presently, I have SQL Server based on servers at my workplace, but am attempting to check on the installation of SQL Server on my PPC. I have noticed that there seems to be MS SQLCE2.0 already installed, as there are a couple of files in the Windows folder and a simple query builder that allows you to view tables and indexes, and write SQL queries.
As I'm completely new to this, and need to get moving with my project, is there anyone who can describe the basics of PPC software administration, folder structure (though it 'seems' relatively straight forward), and where/how I install SQL Server Manager (if there even is one!)?
Also, is there some form of IIS available for a PPC, or is this built in to the PPC Windows?
Thank-you all in advance,
Paul. |
