2210 keeps hard reseting its self!?!?

hello,

my ipaq 2210 keeps randomly hard reseting its self loseing all programs etc..

its driving me up the wall, any ideas? i have changed the battery for a spare i had so prob not that??

Also i have a spare 2210 with broken screen how easy is it to switch the screens over as it works perfectly?

Have you updated the BIOS of your 2210 to v1.1. If you do a soft reset there is a number in the bottom right of the screen when you get the HP screen which tells you which version.
You can download the BIOS update from the HP website http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/f...e/105_5721.html
You need to do a backup though as it clears everything and puts it back to factory settings.
