New to PDA's

Hi all,

I'm new to PDA's and am looking for a bit advice on buying one.
i basically want a PDA for wireless use at home and whilst out and about.
i have wi-fi and home and was wondering if i can connect the PDA to the home computer making the pda have internet access and to receive my e-mails.

one last thing can you set up a pda as another computer on a local network i.e. comp2... i ask this as it would be great if i could play my MP3's from my home computer through the PDA (in the garden for summer etc

)
