Acer N50 GPS Please Help!!!!!!

Hi all
Can someone please assist? I have just purchased an Acer N50 with GPS.
Now when i set up a local route i.e My House in Liverpool to somewhere down the road it works fine but when i set up a Liverpool to Manchester route it calulates for a few seconds then comes up with a Warning "Origin/destination not drivable. Change origin or destination". And i cant understand Why. Anybody know what i am doing wrong? Please Help.
