Acer N50 Premium Start-up problems

Hi,

My N50 has developed a strange problem, in that I can only get it to start by pressing the reset button in. Also, it recently lost all its settings including owner info and some programs that were stored on the internal memory.

The battery wasn't flat or anything like that. I did however sync it to my base machine after it lost all its memory to get my calender back again. This was before the start-up problem occured.

Im running Activesync 3.7.1 as this came with the N50. Can I update this, as it seems really crap. Whenever I sync up, the connection wizzard starts up and has to set a new name for the N50.

Anyone else having reliability issues with this machine?

Check your device doesnt have a battery lock. Som PPC devices won't power on unless it's fully engaged.
