Thinking about getting a PDA

Hello,

I've just got a laptop with media centre and looking for a PDA to compliment it. Thing is, I'm not really sure if I need one...

What are the advantages of one? I'm not out of the house much. Thinking about getting one for quickly checking emails and stuff when I come home...and using laptop for media functions, this really worth it do you think?

Ill have to be really honest with ya, as much as I love pdas I dont think you need one. It will be much easier just to check your email on the laptop, and much cheaper

The only reason I have an PDA is because I use the Tomtom on it. Otherwise thats it. The Wi-Fi is good on them, but I dont see the point sitting a meter away from my PC using a devise that gives me dail-ups speed when I could be using my good connection.

Thats my opinion. If you were to be getting out of the house much, I would recommend.
