Activesync 4.1 causes shutdown error

I am new to the site, so hello to all

I have a XDA mini s and am running activesync on my pc.
I connect using bluetooth. I have been have a problem with my pc not shutting down proberly. When I click on shutdown the computer resets if self, like if I had pressed the reset button on the front of my case. When the pc starts up again I get a "Windows has recoved from an error....."
After days of messing about I now no it is Activesync 4.1 causing the issue.
If any one has had this problem before and knows a fix please let me know.
