ipaq 2210 email question ........

Good afternoon all;

I bought an ipaq 2210 a little while back and with the exception of ONE minor issue its working like a charm.

My problem is sending mail .... receiving works just great ..... Email retrievals show up in the server logs .... both for POP os IMAP (whatever type configured) just as they should. None of the attempts to send mail do ... no illegal access indications ....... nothing ...... Any ideas anybody ???
