Question i-mate K-JAM faulty screen

My wife was given a faulty i-mate K-JAM by one of the buyers in her company, basically the screen is faulty and doesn't display properly. The backlight comes on and the menus work in the background when you tap the screen, but because the display is not working - of course it's useless. I've had a quote of £110 + VAT (that's £130!) to get it repaired. Has anyone had a similar problems, and got it fixed for less?

don't know if you done anything with the phone but if you haven't then go to ebay and install the screen yourself. On ebay they cost about £20 for a new screen. Good luck
