Ipaq 2210 conetion to internet through freesever

Hi can anyone help me with this little prob.

my ipaq 2210 connects to the pc no probs and the pc can surf the web no problems too. but i cannot connect to the web from the ipaq.

internet explorer comes up with the freeserve page saying that the proxy must be turned off to acces the web, but if i turn off the proxy the ipaq reports it has no connection??

what gives??

is it me, am i just being a muppet. i had this prob with the pc a while back and i just turned the procy off and bingo. but no such luck with the ipaq.

any help would be nice.

Sorted.

i used active sync's pas through command and set it to internet
