Question what should I buy?

I want to buy a birthday present for my dad, not a cheap thing, but not so expensive.
first I gotta ask, how do u get online on the PDA? do you have to pay extra for the wifi service? how does it work?

ok, so he wants to get online...check+send emails....play games [ you know, the little 'bored' games] and ummm....camera in not important. the performence and quality is the most important thing.

remember-up to 300$
Thank you very very much !!....

A palm Tx should fit what you need and should come in under budget although Im not 100% sure of the price in the US.

Another option is the Ipaq 2490 if you want a windows interface.

This may be just over $300 mark though.

Not something I've tried so I'm not sure. It should do most 99/100 websites I would imagine.
