MSN Messenger not signing in

ive installed the 1.10 version from microsoft for my ipaq 2210, and i can access the web ok. but the msn messinger service will not log in. it comes up with the password or username is wrong but ive checked them and there fine, so whats the solution

Is the 1.10 version, this update from here -

ive installed this with no effect whatsoever.... any more ideas???

i had a similar problem, but then I reread the install instructions and it says you must perfom a reset after installing, I did that and bingo, one working msn messenger.
