How do I disable some buttons on my 5550?

I got a iPAQ 5550 a few months ago and have since updated the rom software. Since then all is well except the 2 volume buttons. Everytime I put my Ipaq in my belt holder and bend down or sit down both buttons get pressed and the voice memo starts recording. I have tried everything to disable these 2 buttons but just cant do it.
Any ideas on how to disable them?
