pocket pc wi fi connection

hello all ,i recently purchased an acer n50, i desperatly need help to connect to internet i have tried to follow directions in the help section of device,but to comlicated for me to follow ,could any one please advise on what it is i have to do, and what my options regarding internet conectivity are. thanking you in advance

I assume you have a wireless router/access point at home.

Are you using any encryption (WEP/WPA), and restrictions (ie MAC filtering) and is the SSID hidden/shown?

Thank you for your responce,was not aware that i needed a wireless router/access point..I will have to buy one,i found the web site very usefull .i understand the setup a lot more thanx.
