MDA Vario file deletion

I'm trying to change the sounds on an MDA VARIO but having a few problems. All i need to do is delete/Move the sound files from the windows file stored in the MDA. But i keep getting an error messege saying that the file is in use.
What i wanted to ask is, is they're anyway i can delete the file? with the use of some patch or something?
I tried looking for some sort of software that can do this but i havnt got any luck.

Any Info is appreciated.
