Default GPS issue on Medion PPC150

Hello all.

Ive recently started having an issue with my Medion PPC150 GPS. When I try to use the GPS software all the satellites line up in themiddle from north to south on the display (where as they should display their position) in the TomTom software and it never tells me where I am and never calculates a journey. I can aquire up to 8 satellites, with 3 showing a signal.

Ive tried resetting the PDA, Hard resetting, resetting the GPS hardware in the medion GPS menu, and ive tried software reinstalls all to no avail. I even opened up the PDA to make sure the antenna was connected properly and it was.

Has anyone had this issue before and if so could you share your solution (if there is one).

Thanks in advance,

Andy

The best advice is always to stay in the same position, and obtaining a GPS lock before moving.

This happens to me and is when the GPS is updating is GPS reference of where the sats are to enable GPS nav to be possible.

Ive left it in the same place for hours and it never gets a signal. Ive tried everything. Im beginning to think its a hardware problem but I can't understand why it would occur.
