Angry Jornada 928 Midi File Format

When I connect to the Jornada, I can download the sample ringtone file which is a midi file format.

When I upload midi's to the device it stores them, but won't play them, so what format should the files be uploaded in (I have got wav's working fine...this is just the .mid files)

If I upgrade Media Player, will it overcome this problem.

Yes, I have managed to do this already with wav's.

But on the Jornada itself there is a tone which is a .mid file, I am wondering if you can use your own .mid files for these tones and if so what format do they need to be.
